Primary RO pure water equipment

The first stage reverse osmosis (first stage RO) pure water equipment uses tap water, groundwater, well water and other raw water as the inlet, relying on the high-pressure screening principle of reverse osmosis membrane to remove various impurities such as sediment, colloids, residual chlorine, heavy metals, hardness ions, inorganic salts, microorganisms, organic matter, etc. in the water at once. The comprehensive desalination rate of single-stage reverse osmosis can reach about 97%, and the conductivity of the produced water is usually 10-50 μ S/cm, which meets the water needs of ordinary production cleaning, circulating cooling water, reclaimed water pretreatment, boiler soft water pretreatment, and ordinary water supply in the plant area; It can also be used as a front-end coarse filtration unit for secondary RO and EDI ultrapure water systems. The equipment adopts a fully automated integrated design, suitable for conventional water use scenarios in small and medium-sized factories, workshops, hotels, and office buildings. It operates stably and has a low investment threshold, making it the most widely used basic pure water production equipment.

(I) Core features of the equipment

1. Basic comprehensive impurity removal, meeting the general industrial water standards, single-stage filtration can remove the vast majority of suspended solids, salts, bacteria, scale ions, and can be directly used in non ultra high purity water scenarios such as cleaning, cooling, drug dilution, etc.

2. Low equipment investment, simple structure, easy maintenance, fewer components compared to secondary RO and EDI systems, and low procurement costs; The layout of pipelines and membrane components is simple, with few fault points, making it easy for beginners to quickly get started with operation and maintenance.

3. Fully automatic operation, equipped with automatic membrane flushing and PLC automatic control. The reverse osmosis membrane is automatically flushed during startup and shutdown, with timed cyclic flushing to reduce the accumulation of surface pollutants and extend the membrane's service life.

4. Equipped with complete pre-treatment, suitable for various types of raw water, can be combined with multiple media, activated carbon, softener, scale inhibitor and chemical agent, to cope with high hardness, high sediment, high residual chlorine well water and groundwater, with strong universality.

5. Modular combination, flexible and adjustable production capacity, standardized design of membrane shells and membrane components, customizable flow rates of 1-50 tons/h, and direct addition of membrane components for later expansion without the need to replace the entire host.

6. Multiple safety interlock protection includes low-pressure shutdown due to water shortage, high-pressure overload relief, linkage of high and low liquid levels in the water tank, and backflow due to water quality exceeding the standard, effectively protecting the high-pressure pump and reverse osmosis membrane and reducing the risk of equipment damage.

7. The anti-corrosion and clean water wading material membrane shell is made of 304 stainless steel, and the pipeline is made of UPVC/food grade PVC, which has no rust or precipitation and will not cause secondary pollution to the water body.

8. Low operational threshold, low daily operation and maintenance costs, only requiring regular replacement of the pre filter element, no need for complex chemical ratios, low manual duty requirements, suitable for low-cost water solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises.

(III) Complete system composition

The entire first level RO system is divided into four main units: raw water pretreatment unit, first level reverse osmosis host unit, automatic control monitoring unit, and water storage and supply auxiliary unit

1. Raw water pretreatment unit (pre installed to protect the RO membrane core)

Raw water tank, raw water booster pump, balanced delivery of raw water;

Multi media filter: intercepts sediment, rust, and large suspended particles;

Activated carbon filter: adsorbs residual chlorine, color, odor, and some organic matter;

Softener/scale inhibitor dosing device (optional for high hardness water source): prevents calcium and magnesium scaling on the membrane surface;

5 μ m precision security filter: intercepts small flocs to prevent scratching of the reverse osmosis membrane.

2. Core unit of primary reverse osmosis host

Variable frequency high-pressure booster pump: provides the required filtration pressure for reverse osmosis;

RO membrane shell+reverse osmosis membrane element: core desalination filtration component;

Production water pipeline, concentrated water circulation return pipeline, concentrated water can be recycled back to the original water tank;

Automatic flushing electric valve, realizing automatic membrane washing;

Integrated assembly of rack, valve, pressure gauge, and flow instrument.

3. Online monitoring and automatic control unit

Online conductivity meter: Real time monitoring of the purity of primary produced water;

Pressure transmitters, flow sensors, real-time monitoring of system operating parameters;

PLC touch screen control cabinet, automatic start stop, timed flushing, and fault sound and light alarm;

Automatic reflux valve, if the water quality does not meet the standard, it will flow back to the original water tank for re filtration.

4. Water storage and supply auxiliary unit

Primary pure water tank: stores filtered pure water and buffers water fluctuations;

Pure water delivery pump: delivers pure water to workshop use or back-end deep processing equipment;

UV sterilizer (optional): kills bacteria in water and inhibits the growth of microorganisms in the water tank.

(II) Core functions of the system

1. Single stage reverse osmosis efficient desalination and impurity removal utilizes high-pressure screening to intercept over 97% of soluble inorganic salts, colloids, heavy metals, bacteria, and suspended solids, quickly converting tap water into low impurity pure water that meets conventional industrial water standards.

2. Automatic flushing protection membrane component equipment starts and stops, timed automatic flushing of membrane surfaces to intercept pollutants, slow down the adhesion of scale and organic matter, extend the service life of reverse osmosis membranes, and reduce replacement costs.

3. Fully automatic start stop operation with liquid level linkage. The original water tank will automatically stop when it is short of water, and the pure water tank will automatically standby when it is full. It can continuously produce water without human supervision 24 hours a day, adapting to the uninterrupted water demand of the factory.

4. Real time monitoring of water quality, automatic reflux of unqualified water, real-time monitoring of water conductivity, automatic reflux of water quality exceeding the standard, front-end secondary filtration to prevent unqualified pure water from flowing into the production process.

5. Concentrated water recycling saves water and reduces water resource consumption. Reverse osmosis concentrated water flows back to the original water tank for recycling treatment, with a comprehensive water recovery rate of 70% -78%, reducing tap water consumption and sewage discharge.

6. Multiple safety protections to avoid equipment failure, low pressure water shortage protection, high pressure overload protection, high and low liquid level linkage, prevent high pressure pump from idling and membrane element overpressure damage, and ensure stable and reliable operation.

7. Pre treatment and collaborative anti scaling with softening or anti scaling dosing system can reduce water hardness from the source, minimize inorganic scale blockage in reverse osmosis membranes, and reduce the frequency of chemical cleaning.

8. Universal basic water supply, suitable for multiple scenarios, can produce pure water separately for workshop cleaning, cooling and water replenishment; It can also be used as a secondary RO, EDI, reclaimed water reuse, and pre filtration equipment for direct drinking water systems, suitable for various water treatment process combinations.
